MORAL VALUES AND ITS IMPORTANCE




What is the importance of moral values in our life?

 Moral values serve as a vantage point which guides us and aids us in our conscious mobility in life. If we were to stay put in one place, we would have roots instead of feet. But having certain moral values defines us and makes us stand apart in a world where its becoming easy to lose yourself. Moral values ensure that we are accountable to ourselves even if the whole world is against us.

 Individual morality
There could be levels of morality in one's life. Individual morality starts with oneself and there could be new and relatively different concepts of individual morality in one's life.

Social morality
Obviously, the society in which one lives will have certain code of conduct and moral values. One should try to follow them as much as possible.

Universal morality
When it comes to spirituality, universal approach is needed. You can't be simply concerned with your own self or your kith and kin. You have to open up to the idea of being a universal being and not a local chap.
It would not be inappropriate if we say that moral values from our lives are slowly disappearing. Those days are gone when we all were keen to help our neighbors at their struggling moment, to victims of any difficulty and needy persons of our society. Today if a person meets any serious accident, no one takes the risk to take him to the hospital, but first his luggage or goods get robbed.
Moral values are the basic of our goodness and if we use them they give us explainable joy. But if we feel it, it would give us a sense of relief and contentment that is class apart. Moral values are a must in a student's life since he or she has yet to face the harsh realities of life. Secondly, these moral values are not one sided but give immense content to those who exercise them and those for whom exercised. Helping a blind man to cross the road, giving food to the really hungry, consoling a really depressed person or sharing one's grief, are invaluable services born of these moral values.
I earnestly request the students to enrich their moral vision by putting these values in practice. It doesn't tax one's pocket to use them but it increases love, affection and mutual understanding between people. Paying respects to the elders, showing politeness to the small kids, helping the needy etc, are what we, as students, need the most. This also shows the manners and also the quality of our background. Live for others will not minimize your ego but it will increase the love, respect, and personality for you in others heart.

In 1960 the world’s first fully automated mobile telephone was introduced in Sweden. The system allowed for automated connection from a rotary handset (that’s the circular dialing knob to me and you) mounted within a car, but required an operator to forward calls. The system was known as Mobile Telephone system A (MTA) and was replaced by MTB two years later. In this interim period there were several other solutions including the arrival of Motorola on the scene in 1959 and Bulgarian and Russian (then USSR) solutions sprouted up too.
